I'd recommend checking the Krause book for mintage numbers. Depending on the year, some mint marks were worth considerably more than others (and some years, they were all made in about the same numbers).

Typically, the A mint mark is worth the least (as 5-10x as many were minted in Berlin as anywhere else).

    For the half marks, the scarce ones appear to be: 1907E, 1907G, 1908D, 1908E, 1911E, 1911F, 1911G, 1911J, 1912E, 1912F, 1912J, 1913E, 1914/05D, 1914D. The really, really scarce one is 1908F.

    For the 1 marks: 1902G, 1903E, 1903F, 1903J, 1909E, 1911D, 1913F, 1913G, 1913J are scarce. The really scarce one is: 1905F

the 1801 to 1900 will cover those ones, alternatively get yourself a copy of the catalogues cd rom, which has them all on from 1601 to date, invaluable when you want to find something without searching through the books.....

From the German coin catalogues (either Muenzen Revue of Money Trend) the following are the years/mintmarks to watch out for:

    Year - Mintmark
    1873 - B,C (also D,F but much less scarce)
    1874 - H
    1877 - B (quite scarce)
    1878 - B,C,E,G,J (moderately scarce)
    1880 - All except A (E, G, H are quite scarce)
    1882 - G,H,J (H is rare)
    1883 - D,E,F,G,J ( E,F,G,J are actually rare)
    1886 - G
1891 - D Major rarity!!! watch out for fakes
    1892 - E,F,G,J (G is rare)
    1893 - E,F,J are moderately scarce
1894 - G only mintmark for year. Scarce
    1896 - E,G,J
    1900 - G,J (moderately scarce)
    1902 - G
    1905 - F (Very rare RRRRRR!!!!)
    1906-1916 - only scarce ones are 1909 E (quite scarce), 1909 J (quire rare), 1913 F, G (scarce only)

Mintmark G (for Karlsruhe) is generally desirable. Keep those.
Condition is as usual KEY. Top condition Reichmark are actually all fairly scarce at least for 1873-1891 with the small imnperial eagle. And, they are also very beautiful coins when in high grade.

I hope this helps. I'll let you know about the 1/2 marks when i get a chance. But if you have an 1908 F, that is a MAJOR rarity.
