Doble struck ABE head or Lamination

    Hi everone, New here, I picked this one out of a roll Last night, It looks like a double struck abe head, and not really a lamination issue, under close inspection it appears to have two eyes, nose, the error is only around the outside of abes heads down to his bowtie Any ideas, or has anyone seen one before its a 1947d

    I know it's not what you wanted to hear, but it's post mint damage. Looks like someone took a knife or scissors and peeled away the raise portrait...
