any 10, match the series, district, the grade on the slab, color of seal, pretty much anything to sting us along from post to post with some degree of relevancy
For some reason I can't bring up your links, Dave. I saw Boggs on a news report when he first started passing his notes years ago. He would trade his note for an item that was the same value as the denomination on the note. Now, some of his notes are worth thousands of dollars.
Wish I had 1K to drop on this http://cgi.ebay.com/1993-JSG-Boggs-...726?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item230c5b4266
There are lots of great currency here, may be off sequence but does anyone have a chief Onepapa 5 dollar bill to share. This is one of my favorite bills along with the black eagle dollar, and i would love to own them both sometime.. :thumb:
From me, only as a Souvenir Card, but it's an exact print from the original plates and an excellent impression:
Hmmm... dunno, I think the site's been pretty solid for a long time, sorry about that! Boggs is a fascinating character, I would have loved to have been offered one of his hand-drawn "notes" in trade for something. I don't know how many of these orange notes were printed up, at least 217 I guess but still it's amazing to think he draw the thing by hand. Dave
ok i would say looney tunes but thats not correct so i will match the denomination with 1. i hope people have more to post here. i had a small bill that would resemble thaivics and moneyer, but i cant find it.
coinmaster, could you post the link to the coin version of this? it would be interesting to see, and maybe even add to it.
