Can anyone direct me to a site they know of so I may read up on what is and isnt silver in Canadian coinage? I was looking on coinflation.com but they dont tell you if there was any "non-silver" made.

    I'm wondering because I found a 1939 $0.25.

Quarters, dimes, halves, dollars were silver before 1967, and I think between 1967-68 they changed the amount of silver transitioning to non-silver coins after 68. Please correct me if I am wrong. 5 cent pieces were silver in the early 1900's as well, but I think were non-silver by the 20s or 30s.

Thanks guys, I didn't know if there was just silver "collectible" ones or if it was silver through out, thanks again!
