I'll wait for silver to come back down to a reasonable level, and maybe then I'll buy one out of the entire set. Even after silver falls back to $20 an ounce, these will still run at or above $100 apiece.

You may think me naive, but I was buying silver like crazy when it was under $10. Now, I see a bubble.

the coin vault is also selling these 5oz beauties, certified, of course, but by NGC as Gem Brilliant Uncirculated and selling them at 3499.99. Personally I might pay money for an AU-58 of these, but I digress...

This program is an illustration of what I have been yelling from the rooftops for quite a while now. Buying graded bullion coins is a bad idea!!!!

Look, folks, the US Govt has made clear that the prices will be relatively near bullion price from the authorized purchasers (around $1000). Does anyone believe for half a second that certifying this bullion makes them worth $3000-$4000 more? If so, think again.

I have said that certified bullion is a waste of time and money as it commands no premiums, let alone the types of markup being charged by the TV hucksters. Now you can see the mark-up for yourself.

    Can anyone defend them now?
