A recent acquisition: This is the one we discussed, nesvt. The reverse was post-mint damage, but the obverse is more interesting than I first thought. :smile Nothing in my VAM book or at Ashmore clearly identifies this one - the only mention that seems close is VAM 1C, and I can't find a picture of it. This crack runs into TRUST, between the U and S. There's another break starting at the L in LIBERTY, extending down the diagonal of the N, across the top of the 1 and into the neck.
Cool! Definitely a large enough die break to get a unique VAM designation. If nobody identifies it by tonight, I'll look through the supplemental updates tonight. I'm at work now. The printed updates from Leroy have some pictures that aren't on the ashmore site. Unfortunately there are many new updates from 2005, and a new printed listed isn't available yet.
Looked through the updates and couldn't find a match. They only cover up to December 2004. Maybe someone else will come up with something.
