    Oh yea !!! Score

I will set this up for you. I went to my local town bank tues and asked the money lady about ordering me $500. worth of halves. She said she had already placed her order for the week.

So I rolled my lip and said aww I really wanted something to do New Years Eve, She said I am sorry I do not have any Halves How about our sister branch about 15 miles away I said I asked them and they said they do not have any! She says Really well let me check.
So she walks over to a counter and looks at a piece of paper and says I can sell you $500. worth, COOL!!!! But 20 sec ago she had None????
So I said I would go to there ATM and get Cash and she would get them.
She comes out with 50 rolls lets say 40 customer wrap and 10 fed wrapped and ask's me if I have anything to put them into. I say I have a small Bucket in truck I use for my dumping of coins. So I thank her VERY VERY much and leave.

I waited until last night Looking @ them in the bucket every day. Well there were 2 rolls with a customers name on them that I had seen before, Once I had some pretty good silver from a few of his rolls and another few times nothing. So I did not open them @ the same time last night but said a little Prayer to god before opening these 2 and well as you can see from the pics.

One roll had 17 40% 1 90% and the other roll had like 8 90% and 4 405 I think plus I pulled another 4 or 5 40% off the other rools in the bucket and I still have 5 fed rolls left to check.
    SORRY FOR LONG POST JON

Hot dog! That's a score, abuck. Most I've found in a single roll is 5- 40%. I'd bring that teller some cookies!

    Nice totals everyone!

Here are my totals for 2010. The only thing I really searched this year were halves.

    72 40%
    24 64
    1 Franklin
    10 NIFC
    1 S Mint 76

Searched six boxes that were all skunks. All of my finds came from CW rolls with the exception of some of the NIFC finds.

Going on a silver hunt next week. Three boxes on order from Garda and I'm spending the day Friday on a small town road trip hunting for CW rolls. After my silver hunt next week I'll have to slowdown on my CW roll hunt and get back to work with my day job.

Happy New Year and Happy Hunting to Everyone!

FOUND MY FIRST INDIAN HEAD!!!! It was in a roll of cents I got from my bank in a Brinks box. 1903 and looks like it's in pretty darn condition! I suck at grading and suck even more at taking pictures, but here it is!

Man, it's cool finding an Indian Head in a roll. I found a 1902 that is pretty crudded up. I soaked it in vinegar and got a lot of it removed. I am going to give it to a bank teller on Monday. I have a pretty complete set and think this might interest the teller in collecting. Perhapse enough to steer some potentially good rolls my way ??

It's a cool find, for sure.

Every so often I'll get about $200 in quarters from the bank. I've seen yellowstone and maybe one other one. Yellowstone for sure. Never seen one in pocket change, only while roll digging.

Edit: Just finished a box of cents. Found 14 Wheats and the 1903 Indian head I mentioned.

Just finished 30 rolls of cents. 20 were CWR the other 10 from Brinks. Found 3 Georgies, 8 wheats, one from The Bahamas with a starfish on the obverse (very cool) and a dime. I'm right about 30% copper again and working on my second 5 gallon bucket full of coppers..
