How awful. I didn't know him, but I know many of you on this thread and my heart and prayers go out to anyone who has suffered a personal loss because of this.

Please... no insensitive remarks. None of us understand what anguish he must have suffered before it came to this. Everyone encounters difficulties in life, but few or none of us empathize with what he must have went through.

Prayers for his family and many friends. May peace and blessings be with you all.

I knew Cameron personally for several years, and had dinner with him once a month. I cannot speak for his dealer business and transactions, but I can say that Cameron was an educator. He helped me learn how to grade coins, and would always take the time to look at a coin for me if I had a question of its grade. The last time I saw him was at the Denver Coin Expo several weeks ago and I remember telling a guy at my table that “Cameron is probably the best grader in this room.” He would go out of his way to help people and always had a smile on his face and remember everyone’s name. He was an inspiration for me and other “wanna be coin dealers” under the age of 30.
I am sorry for anyone who might have had money or coins with Cameron and my condolences go out to his family, but let us remember the man and not the coin dealer.
He was a family man and a friend before a business man.

Since I'm a Moderator and can post this I will...

Some of ya'll need to grow up - we aren't here to talk about what he did or did not do. This post was to let us know that a fellow collector has passed on. This goes for ANY and ALL threads here on CT - if you don't have something nice to say, then don't say it.
I work in the death-care field and I can tell you that at this time the family needs your prayers and support - not your comments.

As for me - while I hadn't talked with Cameron for several years, I'm still going to miss him -
