Draped Bust Half, Grade It.

    A low 8. And I agree the rim/edge damage visible at obverse K9 and K1 would merit a details grade.

    VG8; it might grade despite the rim damage.. otherwise nice surfaces.

    I'd grade it Good-6. The hair detail it shows is deceptive because the hair was strongly defined on the 1801 - 1803 half dollars and on some 1805 pieces. If that hair was completely worn off the piece, the letters around the obverse and reverse would be close to unreadable.

    I agree with G6.

    I really want the rim to be complete for a VG8.

    And, as for the rim damage... it could go either way. They tend to be quite forgiving on these early coins, especially in low grades like this.
