I found a 1944 penny that is a dark color. Some letters are worn out a little bit. Has "dirt" on edges of letters. Is it worth anything? Please let me know. I will provide pictures soon.
I also have a couple of coins including a 1968 S penny that have very bold lettering (stands out) Why are some like that?
I have a '59 and '69 (lol) penny that are both shiny with few visible scratches.
I have a 1964 D penny that has colors on the front such as red, orange and blue.
Last of all, I have a 1969 S penny, a 1981 penny with diagonal lines on it ///// <like this kind of, and a 1972 penny that shines violet when aimed at with light.

(Sorry if it's too many questions or they are noobish.)

The 44 penny in lousy condition is worth a nickel or less and and the 59 and 69 pennies are worth a few cents if that.
