Hi, I have been doing allot of research on error star notes since I came across this bill. All i can figure out is it seems as if they are rare. Is this something I should try to sell and if so whats a rough estimate.
    Thanks for any help!!!

I cannot comment on the rarity of this bill, but I can say that is exciting. I hope the paper guys have some good news for you!

    Nice find!

    I would keep it.

As to value, it may have some premium. The condition affects it quite a bit. The value would be much higher if there were portions of the adjacent note visible (the more showing, the higher the price).

Yeah, it needs the next bill showing to be worth megabucks.

Thanks for the responses! There are 3 wallet folds that are very prominent, is there anything I can do(safely) to flatten the note?

I've taken notes with prominent folds and inserted them into a book and then piled more books on top. Put the note in a Mylar-D sleeve first. This will help the note lay flat and hopefully retain whatever embossing is present. Don't expect miracles. Nice find. You seldom find errors on Star notes.

It was a short run too not to mention the last run of the series (printed in June of 2007), nice find!

Honestly, without a part of another note (or marginal markings) showing, it's just a really poorly-centered note.

Thanks for all the info! Anyone think that this has more value than face, and if so will anyone put an estimated value on it?

I think you can get more than face for it on eBay but I would be surprised if it went for more than $30. After your fees you only net a few dollars so I am not so sure it is worth it.

I agree with USS656. I would just hold onto it for a bit and see if the premium goes higher in the future.
