Well today I went to my first coinshow! It was in westford MA. I was really pumped to go. It wasnt a blow out but really cool considering it was my first time. There was about 30-50 dealers...all had a decent collection...everything from currency of The Netherlands right up to Gold. I was overwelmed but managed to pick out a few beauties out anyways. I bought 5-7 Buffalo head nickels, a barber dime because of its low price and great eye appeal, and i also bought a proof S roseveltt dime from 1970, and a proof Jefferson from 1960. I also bought some nickel 2x2's and my dad managed to get me a 1943 Steel coated Zinc Lincoln. I was happy all and all but the dealers were mainly just there for trading and mingeling purposes but to me it was a pretty big deal!

I went to the WESPNEX in whiteplains this saturday, Its my second show and I really enjoyed it. Bought some Franklin proofs raw and other stuff for my type set. Most of their Franklins were slabbed, so was a little dissapointed and I don't like slabbed coins. Very few BU Franklins were available and prices seems to be higher than my last show.
