i got this for my birthday this year. only coin i've ever received as a gift, until the secret santa program on here. can't wait to open it up on saturday!

I'm hoping I get some good stuff for Christmas, or some money to buy some good stuff. I've gotten a 1996 ASE, 2009 Abe Lincoln commem., and some other randoms as gifts. Everything is great, just nothing tooooo interesting yet!

 

Does anyone have suggestions for a 2011 coin calendar? PCGS seems to be the only one I found.

 

The only time I would get a coin as a gift is if I gave one to myself.
No one else who would even consider giving me a gift would know enough to give me a coin.

Nice gifts everyone! Love the seated Lugia. Sadly my mom said that my coins related Christmas list was boring and I could get most of it one my own =[ oh well. Still got some wonderful presents.

yea its great. a dealer that we goto alot had gotten a few new pieces that he probably didnt show to many other people. my dad got that MS coin at a AU price. its a bummer that your mom didnt take your wanting coins for christmas seriously. i cant think of much anything else that i would want.

 

Ironically, my family is actually in the process of adopting, so I guess you can say yes!

 

No coins, but I did get a few books: "Whitman Encyclopedia of US Paper Money", and "Obsolete Paper Money".

 

Happy holidays CT! No coin related gifts, yet! Xmas gifts go pre 25th and post around my parts. Lots of gift cards and dough that could go to such a gift though! Rolls I'm thinking! I've never bought my own rolls from the bank strictly for looking for coins I would collect! Excited much.

 

I got a 1989 mint set (birthday year), an '89 proof set and the 2011 Bluebook.

 

I recieved a 1969d $.50, 1942 & 1964 $.25, and a 1959 $.10 from my girlfriend's mother (from circulation at a grocery store). My girlfriend gave me Danscos for my uncirculated set of P&D Statehood & Territories set and my Kennedy half unc set. I gave a 2006 Silver Eagle PCGS PR69 DCAM to my girlfriends son (birth year).
