Title says it all. Post a coin/note you're thankful for, whether it be for its sentimental/numismatic/melt/personal value or for any other reason. If you have Christmas themed examples, feel free to post those too! My Submission: This North Dakota cud was given to me several Christmases ago by my late uncle. He was the first person to lead me on to coins, and over the years we learned about the hobby together; he had an affinity for Morgans while I was much more content with Franklins and Wheaties. He passed away two months ago after a long battle with cystic fibrosis; I remember visiting him in the hospital every year for his checkups and it was always in the pediatric ward, because the mortality rate of that disease is so high for children that most specialists in it deal with children. And yet he lived past 40. He was a truly great person, and a well-exposed numismatist. I see this example years after it was given to me, and I can't help but appreciate its true value now more than I probably ever have. Love ya Uncle Rob As for this 'Santa Dollar,' yes, it is the cheap, superficial "let's-paste-a-santa-sticker-on-a-real-dollar-bill" variety. Back when I was first starting my collection my parents got it for me as a stocking stuffer, ever since it has been a funny conversation piece, I always joke with them about paying $5.00 for a dollar bill and a sticker haha.
Here's a REAL Christmas coin I recieved last year for y'all. I'll be back late tomorrow with newps from the ones I love.
