I'll post one later, but, how about we include in the post the year and grade if any? That would make the coin seem even better!
It is a 1909 and now owned by Duane B. from the PCGS forums. The grade is MS67*RB I know this thread is all about the reverse, but thought I would post the obverse. If inappropriate, please let me know and I will take it off.
I concur. I can't find any thing at all. looks perfect to me! Now thats what I am talking about, that one is also perfect Naaa.. it doesn't really matter, it does make for interesting guesswork, not knowing the obverse...of course unless you have Eidetic Memory. I think its a good excercise/study of the cent and grading. I feel like I can now narrow down really close to the year or at least the decade, LOL by looking at MS reverses. I thought that was a MPL given the toning and what looks like square rims. Since you no longer own it, I can pick on it?.... In spite of the attractive yet distractive colors. there are hits on both N's in ONE CENT and in the field below America, the seeds in the left stalk are missing some definition.
I actually had more issues with the obverse, especially the lack of beard and ear detail. In fact, under magnification the ear looked like it had been scraped.
That is wild! Is that from album toning? The only toned cents I have are what I call the blue meanies and purple people eaters. I like this one for it's toning which is more of warm kind of toning? MS65BN
