Advance apology if your browser does not resize. (get chrome) okay.. we all concentrate on the Wheatie obverse.... I wonder if for that reason alone, often the reverse is untouched? I am curious, I read how imperfections on the reverse can drag a grade down, however the converse is not true?? a 63 obverse with a 67 reverse = 63? and a 67 obverse with a 63 reverse = 65??? is there a percentage vaguely used? I recently came across this reverse that stuck out in my mind enough to create this thread. So, post a perfect or unusual wheatie reverse. Let's see em!
This thread makes me feel funny in a good way (like when you climbed the rope in gym class)..... I love finding wheats when roll digging, even if they suck and look like they've been drug behind a truck. Must be a hillbilly thing. All my family has saved wheat pennies since way back when. I'm waiting to find something good in one of their buckets, lol.
Rim, thats what I call an un-humanly strong reverse! o you have a hi-res of that? cool idea.. these are my PCGS fine 22 no D strong reverse and 22 weak d/weak reverse.
...and since you said this is a reverse thread, I'm not showing you the obverses of any of these coins. See why we focus on the obverse now? LOLOLOL
Right now I am afraid I do not and since I am leaving tomorrow, I am afraid those will have to do for the moment.
