Hey guys, I have this double stamped wheat penny and I have no idea what the value of it could be. Its got no date as the double stamp covered it/cut it off and its in great shape. Wondering what it may be worth?? Had it given to my by an older gentleman that was a family friend who knew I had a coin collection and said it would be better off with me.
If it is genuine it's worth between $100-$200. It would be worth more with a date. The reason I say "if it is genuine" there were/are counterfeit errors made and this could possibly be one of them but their isn't a way to tell for sure from the pictures.
You might try "minterrornews.com", but undated, it becomes a generic double strike error. Without a qualifying date a lot of potential value is lost.
