Does anyone know of a 1932-1998 Washington Quarter folder or album that is designed to hold coins by date and not by date & mint mark? Everything I found was by date & mint mark only. -LTB
You are looking for a "By Date" folder or album. A hole for every year. Check Dansco or Whitman, maybe Littleton websites! Steve
You may end up getting an album with unlabeled quarter-sized holes. I believe they exist. Of course that would mean if you wanted them labeled you'd have to do it yourself.
Can I ask why you would want such a thing? Assembling a complete set of Washington Quarters can be fun.
What I use are vinyl pages that hold 2x2 flips. The reason for this is that I can arrange my coins in any manner I choose and I get a freedom of collecting sets or partial sets as I wish. But as a roll searcher, it also allows me to upgrade my sets by the ease of inspecting and comparing what I already have. Although most of my coins have been upgraded to AU58-MS for many of my circulated sets, I do find a really nice coin in a search on occasion.
Unfortunately, an album/folder by date does not exist for the years that I'm interested. I was going to do something similar to what 10gary22 recommended, but I wanted to keep my collection uniform by having all albums...so I was able to find a blank page Dansco quarter album like kanga recommended that does not have the printed year. I want to collect a quarter from each year, primarily from 1932-1964 that will give me a sense of completion without totally breaking the bank And the Dansco has 96 slots which will allow me to collect one quarter per year for the silver 1932-1964 and collect P&D mint marks for each year from 1965-1998. -LTB
Sounds like you found what you need. I am aware that you can Buy blank Dansco album pages for every denomination. These are the ones designed to add to your book, but I see no reason they couldn;t make up the entire thing ? Glad you got it. Gary
