I was wondering what my 2006 Series Star Note was worth. It's still crisp and is in very nice condition. I was going to post a few pics, but my camera phone did the note no justice. The serial is IK00076386*. Hoping that I could get a price range. If I find a decent camera I will try and post a few pics. For now though I would like to know a bit more information about the bill itself and what potential value it may hold. Thanks DDP8
it's from a run of 3.2-million, so i don't believe there's much of a premium on it. someone else with better knowledge of prices than me should be along and can help you out.
Ok, I am new to this forum. I have been collecting on and off for a few years. I may be throwing some stuff on here just to see what things i have. Hopefully i can nail down some sort of price because im in a dilema. Being "young" i need the money, but i love the star note. I do no want to throw away something that is valuable, but at the same time i do not want to just put a 20 into a collection. I guess it's all part of the collecting experience.
Since the condition sounds fairly decent, I'd suggest hanging onto the note if you can. Check back for value in ten or twenty years. Not a bad thing, just not a scarce issue right now, but your note is a star and not terribly high of an SN either. Here is a decent star note reference for you to consult when you find stars, a site by MAGMAN, another CTer: Series 2006 $20 star reference
You can always try to sell it for face plus shipping costs to another collector here on CT so that you get the money you need and someone benefits from the ability to collect on a budget. CT has a Classifieds section where you can list items for sale.
