1973 -- Article on Market Effect of GSA Hoard Release

1973 Morgan Market Study

This article is taken from the 1973 Red Book of United States Coins. It is in reference to market shifts in Morgan Dollar values due to the discovery and release of the "GSA Morgan Dollars" hoard. This article is followed in the book by six pages of 25-year value charts ('47-'72) of all known varities (at the time) of Morgan Dollars. This has been left out due to the outdated nature and length of the charts. This is taken from a copyrighted material without express permission, however there is no intent of copyright infringement.
