Help Needed for New Arabic Silver

    Well, I know almost nothing about Islamic/Arabic coins. I recieved this as a gift from a friend and would like some further info. Thanks in advance to you Arabic coin experts.

    I think it's KM#227.x, Mughal Rupee of Muhammad Shah Jahan(1628-1658)

    I agree with DCH - it is mohammad shah jahan coin

    Sorry, my meaning was, does the coin say or is it possible to find exacly what year of his reign this piece is from?

    AH1039/3 (1630) and I believe it's Akbarabad mint.
