Okay well i have a 2001 uncirculated mint set. This is a philadelphia mint set. All coins have a P mint mark except the penny. I am not sure why it doesn't have one. IT HAS NEVER BEEN OPENED. Can some people tell me about it.
All Philly coins in the past had no mint mark. Some time in the 1980s they started using the 'P' mint mark for all Philly coins except the cent. The cent is the one coin that still has no mint mark when it is made in Philly. Your mint set cent is a 'normal' philly cent.
