Yea! Also, the big time coin dealers apparently get to purchase the error coins (Off Centers, Double Struck, Capped Die Strikes, etc.) that get caught in the quality control process as well! I always thought that these were supposed to be disposed of (sold to a Company for remelting) and were not to be sold. However, I believe that the Mints sell theses errors to the big time coin dealers because they always have plenty of them available on their' websites and/or on eBay. If this is the case, then I feel that it is unfair to the public and feel that simple smucks like me, should be given the same advantage to purchase the error coins. What do you all think?????? Frank
No problem now I just went to the site and ordered 2 each of the Chronicles set and the two proof coins. The web site was fast and smooth. I hope I wasn't too late to get in on the order.
I got mad and just spent my mint money on a few 54mm toy soldiers. Oh well, maybe next year I will get the Commem.
I took a stand against this poor service, which seems to get worse with every release. I am not going to buy any of the comm coins, and instead I put my money on a nice PCGS MS65 1944 Walking Liberty. It is blast white, and as beautiful as anything they mint today. I think for a while anyway, I am going to rebel against the poor service and purchase some older coins. Not that the mint will miss my business. Jim
