what is this coin

    Does Anyone Know what the small dime is??? I found if a few years ago and have not been able to find out what it is. It is made of metal, has all the same markings as a liberty dime. But a fraction of the size

    Could have been from an old toy cash register.
    I recall having one, as a young child.

    :thumb: Ok found out they shrank it. It was a real dime put through a magnet and electric field to compress it. (same mass and wt just more dense). But the Dryer dosen't work on them.:D

    As I guessed. Shrunken coins just have a particular look to them.

    Seriously, I hope it wasn't a 16 D.
