My Anti-toner newest add..

All this toning talk has affected my collecting habits in favor of toners recently... realizing this, and knowing how my collection has appreciated (on paper) via that stong bias in key dates I simply had to go back to some collector/investor basics and add this pup with a mintage of 64k... Not eye candy, but key..... and key dates are the key to the investment side of collecting coins IMO. if only it we're toned neon purple and green with yellow poka dots..... alas, bland brown will have to do.

IMO I would disagree, but thats JMO. Everyone has their own likes or dislikes.

 

Me too but I can certainly appreciate key date coins and I agree with the Op that from an investment side...key dates are where it's at

 

Yep, for business strikes, this is the key although the 1864 Small Motto is right up there with it.
Nice coin to have.
