I got this one for like 2 or 3 bucks recently, and I wouldn't sell it for 20 times that. I think she's gorgeous!

Thanks guys. My mediocre photo skills combined with a mediocre camera are limiting my attempts to show what she really looks like. The gold/yellow is definately more of a yellow copper color like shoewrecky's avatar lol, and the green is just magnificent. It has an iridescence I simply cannot capture. The pic is still nice, but in hand it is unbelievable.

 

Don't worry my friend, all of the toning freaks on this forum know exactly what you are talking about. Rainbow toning in combination with great luster, what's not to love. Congrats on a nice pickup!

 

you don't have to pay mega bucks for nice coins...............especially if YOU like them.

Great example. You might try researching axial lighting. It's the best for toned coins like yours.
Axial lighting simulates tipping the coin toward a light, but can be shot from straight-on. ; )

If you try it, you may not believe the results. : )

There's a reason that nicely toned examples sell for 2-30 times the book value for blast white examples.
I think you found a real bargain. : )
