    Could someone please help me to determine the period and country of origin? It appears to be a jeton but I'm not sure. Thank you!

    Those photos aren't good enough for my lousy eyes. If you can identify the writing on it, I'll see if I can find it in the Mitchiner book.

    In front is readable only sign "PLUS UTRA" (probably non plus ultra), in centre most probably ship. In back is "IN WIEN" and before it looks like "FABR..." something something, in centre is sun, stars and moon.

    "IN WIEN" suggests Vienna, Austrian.
