Welcome to CT. Definitely heed Krispy's advice. Are you a strap\bill searcher? How did you notice the mismatch?

I think I am going to die... poor. In 2005 Wells Fargo delivered in our change order, a $100 banded $1 bills ALL Star notes. Being the moron I am (Not a currency collector) I emailed a dealer about value. He emailed me back that he would pay $125 for the bundle. Being the Christmas season, the store (I manage a retail store) needed the dollars for change, I did not send to the buyer. These notes were not old, but they WERE brand spanking new, and in numerical sequence from San Francisco.. Damn! :(

This same note is being talked about in a thread over at Collectors Universe, and almost identical advise has been given. Maybe it will turn up over at the PMG forum next.

SIT why did that make you upset that this note was on 2 differn't sites or were you plugging the PMG site? LOL also is a second opinion not smart? Also I found another mismatched serial number but I kept my mouth shut because of people like you. You should see my newest find a 2 once plus gold container in a old trunk.

    Earl,

Is there a particular reason as to why you went into a thread from 12/2010 to say something like this about Steve's last post? If you were serious in your last post, seems a bit juvenile to me.

I've PM'ed Earl to see if we can get this straightened out privately.
    Thanks Matt.

Any news on what this note actually sold for? Pretty cool note.

Gee what a guy you are. I have been exposed to the likes of you in the past.
So you got lucky once or twice, if you knew anything at all about currency you would not have stopped here to ask.
Comments like the ones you dropped on SIT are uncalled for. There are many respected members here in this forum and do not think that you can insult folks and get answers to your questions.

In my opinion, you owe SIT an apology. His knowledge is far superior to what you have displayed.
If I see such a posting again on any member here I will personally report it to the site owner and ask for it's removal.

    regards,

    RickieB

I've seen the likes of you to a forum / internet bully. What offends you the fact I asked him what made him mad about me getting a second opinion. Or do you just comment on everything trying to get to 10,000 post. Also I sold the star note for $1200. SIT gets no apologys because I'll I asked him was what made him mad and then told him about a few other finds. Also I get lucky all the time but I never bully or talk down on people to get them to sell a note cheaper.

You've got it wrong. Enough said.

    Bully?? Me? naahhh

Your comment of "it's people like you" is what bothers me.
You have no idea of who SIT is as a person.
You remind me of a person that was banned a while back because of insults like this.

If you have nothing positive to say about our members, then go somewhere else to troll your insults.
You have the right to get whatever opinion you want, just not the right to insult others if you realize it or not.

    Regards,

    RickieB

    Bully?????

It has been a long time since I have posted here. A new addition to my family just over a year ago and business has kept me rather busy.
I regularly check in and lurk, but don't really have the time to post. But I can't keep quiet on this one.

Bully???? BUddy I just don't know where you come from!!!!
Why rekindle a thread from 5 months ago to "comment" or as I see it, pick on Steve. You had to have searched pretty hard for this thread just to pick on someone, that makes YOU the Bully!
I have no use for Bully's, never have and never will. I used to be the one that put them in their place, and am sure would still enjoy that.
My mother always says "If you don't have anything nice to say..."
So, if you don't have anything productive for this incredibly helpful and useful website, Why even be here???
Also would like to say that I was sad to hear of Connor1's passing.
I know that was another thread, but as I said, I have been busy.

    ENOUGH!!!!

Any more bickering and I will lock this thread and issue infractions to those who are involved. This is a forum for the civil discussion of coins and currency. I strongly suggest everyone returns to discussing this note or notes like it.

I think I might be confused now. Is Earlallen the original owner of the note this thread is about? I thought it was someone else.
