is this about right ?

Mom left me an 1884 3 cent piece in a paper coin envelope with $165.00 and "UNC" written on it. I think it would be at least an MS60 possibly higher. Numismedia shows it at $1230 and up as the grades go higher.

I have absolutely no idean when Mom bought it. It could have been in the late 50's, early 60's or even later, I guess. But I think it has been in the vault for decades at least.

Catalog says $800 in MS60 and $5800 in MS65.

Man, this is in a bank box in California. I listed it when I inventoried the box last October, but never considered taking pics at the time. If I get back over there in a few months, I will take it out, but can't get a pic until then.
