Wow, 3-6 weeks would make me crazy (and my wife). The other reference I have is The Error Coin Encyclopedia by Margolis and Weinberg. It is set up similar to Herberts book. Since you have the time I would also recomend getting Wiles book on the minting process. You can sometimes find this on ebay. I took Mr Wiles course at the ANA Summer Seminar which is the best way to take it but buying the course book and reading it would be highly recomended for any error coin collector.
