I have purchased some lower grade/impaired draped bust dollars on two different occasions and was more than happy with them. I would think it would be hard for them to acquire inventory and attend national shows while keeping overhead (prices) in check being in AK but, they usually have nice, collector grade offerings at reasonable prices.
I have purchased Franklin Halves and find their grading standards are fine. No returns and there service is quite good.
I grew up in Alaska and first met the owner when I started collecting over 30 years ago. He is a wonderful person and a great supporter of the local community. I always remember him for the extra time he took to start a young numismatist off right. He provides quality coins at reasonable prices all while working in a difficult environment. Definitely one of the good guys!
