I was going to say $250...I think $305 is a fair price for a 64* even if I wouldn't have paid quite that much. If thrown on Ebay today no reserve I think it would still pull $300 plus.

The colors are better than my photos make them appear. I wonder how much it would bring with your photos.

I'd say $300 to $350 pretty much any day of the week.....looks like a sold MS64 to me and I know how nice the luster is on the early 'S' mints.

Doesn't look like anyone else is posting a coin so here is a coin I picked up for the 2nd time at FUN in January of this year. It was a coin I sold at auction in 2007 due to my divorce and it was the first coin that I originally sold that I had a chance to by back since.

In case you can't see the coin is in a MS63 holder thought it looks like it should be in a MS64* holder to me :)

I like the toning coverage on the obv.... kinda looks like a dark toner to me, hard to tell. common date and commonly toned date... I'll go $125.

Anyone ever told you that coin looks green? I am not your toning expert, but that is the greenest coin I have ever seen.

    $450??

    I'll second that !

    I'll guess $245. And I think it's graded correctly.

I think this is another under graded Coin by NGC . I don't know what the NGC pop is in 64 , but I think it's definitely short by one . That said, I'll suggest the OP's hammer price for this was $425.00

I have no idea what mine is worth, do you? Also, should I take it out of the original mint set packaging or leave it in?

Shane's coin is one that I think would fetch quite a premium -- Green on a morgan = $$$. A 63 of this date, according to PCGS, is $47 and goes up to $63 in 64. I'll bet the coin's worth $500 and that's my guess (66 money). Glad to hear you got it back, Shane. :)

It's hard to tell from the photos how deep the nicks are on the face and field. It could be a 63, a PQ 63 or maybe make a '4. The reverse isn't helping much, lots of rim nicks. I'll go $300. This is a good holiday coin: red, green and snow!

That green is SUPER so I'm going high as grade doesn't matter too much with greens so $650

are we done with the 1884 morgan ? tough when folks start posting multiple coins.

I just posted the 1884 so I believe we should wait till tomorrow for a few more guesses. The poster with the canadian cent probably doesn't know the rules of this particular thread...no biggie. To answer his questions I would take it out of the mint set to prevent further toning as it looks great now. If that coin was certified I could see it bringing at least $50 to $75 on Ebay.

$350....I wonder what would cause such toning?

My apologies. I just didn't feel like going through 55 pages on toning. Didn't mean to rain on that indeed spectacular green morgan.

No problem. If your anything like me, it doesn't take much to confuse the heck out of me.
