PCGS AG-03 will probably bring in $300-$400 range since they sell for about $650-$750. And most dealers want to make as much of a profit as they can.

I don't think an AG-03 is going to go for $1000, maybe in some cases where the seller might think he has the rarest coin but most dealers will have them for $900 and under. A G-4-G-6 is around $1000-$1200 and they are nice for their grade. I'm shooting for a G-4 but I love the G-6's.

my coin shop tends to just overprice everything so i won't be buying from them. I was looking to buy the coin for maybe less then 550 from someone on craiglist but then sell it(since i don't really collect merc dimes) but i don't think it'd be worth the time now since ebay would have lots of fees and dealers would have low offers
