The luster is much nicer than it appears in the photos, it definitely has full luster.

If correct about (the luster being much nicer than the photo),then I would say MS-63. B12

    I'm going to hazard MS-65.

If the coin has full luster and no marks that can't be seen in the photos... I'd go with MS65 too!

    GD,
just out of curiosity, what would prevent this from a 65? I'm getting better at grading, but still seem to miss by a point or two usually. So far, I have noticed a small ding on the cap, and ding between the U and the M except it is towards the center of the coin, and a small rim ding on the reverse about 11 oclock. The coin's luster is great, which you really can't tell about from the picture. If this coin goes a 64, I'd be thrilled. I'm very pleased with it : ), regardless of the grade.

I took your word for it on the luster. But a 65 is supposed to be Gem, and this coin based on the pics has too many small, but very numerous, hits and dings on both obv & rev to make the 65 grade IMO.

I'll go conservative and say MS 64. Could be a 65 though depending on the surfaces and cheek...Mike

I'm not comfortable going as high as MS65 based on the small scans provided. Could, could not. What does intrigue me is the location of the mintmark - the scan makes it seem a little to the right and tilted clockwise.
