Just something to think about folks: My partner and I chose a day to send them out so we wouldn't receive the gift prior to sending out ours.

 

I just received my coins today, and wanted to post a pic. It's like a mini-hoard, I didn't expect to get so much. It's a really nice assortment of different denominations and types. Just thought you all would want to see them. Hey Jay, thanks so much for all the goodies, I appreciate it. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Hey Bruce I received my package about 30 minutes after my last post. Thanks for everything, The counterstamps are really neat, and the 1853 cent is not only the oldest coin I now own, but my first large cent. Thanks again.

 

Wow! Those are very cool looking to me! If I ever saw that first coin somewhere I'd have to have it! AND, the third coin "Coronet Large Cent", well I have never seen a large cent -- lo and behold I have a soap mold for that and now I know what it is (I mean the mold is a replica of a real coin!) That is exciting to me, and gives me a great idea! A very nice collection Bruce. Lucy
