nice sorry to say though, that i know so little about confederate notes, i always think they are fake - the amount of fakes out there doesnt help much either. They all look like Monopoly money though dont they!
Nice. Could be real (don't see anything about it that marks as an obvious fake anyway) but will let people more expert than me give an opinion about that. If it is a fake, it's a pretty good one... nice note either way though. Confederate notes have many modern reproductions and counterfeits, as well as contemporary counterfeits, so it pays to be sure on these things. Since you won it for free though you're not out anything if it turns out to be fake I suppose. I'm willing to say with about 80% certaintly it's real... but more expert opinion would be worth more than mine.
I know that this one is genuine for sure....compare it to what you posted. Know little about CSA notes except this one is T68 1864 issue. RickieB
looks exactly the same except with different signatures. thank you for posting a pic. mine is dirtier than yours though. still a very nice note. mine doesnt appear to have ever been folded and the paper is still somewhat crisp. does anyone know an approximate value of these, i dont want to sell i am just curious. thanks again...Jon
Hi Jon... Your note willl range from $30-40 USD. Sixty ($60) is the high end for CHCU notes of this Issue. Keeper for sure! RickieB

hi saw your bill mine is torn and old aside from the signatures being diferent the "T" on the other side is diferent it has the same "T" form the side with signatures can you referme to where i can get it autenticated? in the Chula Vista -San Diego area? thanks

ok here are the bills pics the signature apears to be diferent but the most hotable diference is the word "TEN" on the back wich seems to be in the same type of font as the word "TEN" in front but i don't know much about bills :S please give me your opinion P.S. do you know about Mexican old bills as well?
the key to these are their signatures it's a dark brown usually due to age but never black. Key to. Finding counterfeits. Yours imo is genuine
