Siberian man I would not say rare in this country all the comm's 50 cent coins. The coins you posted are rather easy to find on line /e bay most under $50 +/- depending on grade. Nice find for your neck of the woods. It's funny how money finds its way to all parts of this world. Just think of the stories it could tell...if it could. Yes just having a quick look on e bay your finds are all under $50 usd. again if graded they bring more.

Those are all very common US Commemorative Half Dollars. I don't have my price guides with me at this moment but I know they are among the least valuable Early US Commems. They are still collectible though.

You are very welcome...did you pay much for them? They are silver 90 % worth just under $10 each for a melt price

During the last 2 years USA's "halves" become a rather popular in Russia. I have a small collection of them too. Now I'm wating for a 1925's half-dollar ("Stone mountain memorial"). When I"ll get it, I"ll show you my future purchase.

That's another very common Early US Commem. So common in fact that many of them circulated as half dollars. I hope you don't overpay for your example.

Agreed Hobo, but again we are talking Siberia. Just like finding Russian coinage here in the states yes you can find it but not as easy as other coins from countries IE Europe or Canada , Central and SA . I can remember my college days a prof. of mine went to the USSR and he made a killing on his levis and comic books. Now this was true 1970's money but $500 for a used pair of jeans? Another time I was traving through the Caribbean in Jamaica "Earth Shoes" remember them....OMG they buy them off your feet right in down town Mo Bay. What we take for granted..... others find real value. I think its so cool that US comm's are found in a place like Siberia....would love to know how and when they arrived. What a story that would be...IMHO

I payed $30 for mine; it's Gem BU. The dealer that I got it from had practically a whole roll of them and was selling them cheap.
