Wouldn't that be because it was improperly sorted beforehand? No reason to blame the poor schmuck breakin' his back to load the truck.
The little guy always gets blamed. Still (for that package that collect89 mentioned above) that package should have received an "upgrade" to get it back to it's proper destination within the delivery time frame.
Works? A car without an engine can also work as transportation. It just takes a lot more effort then it should. I live in Northern California. I have a package that started in a town about 70 miles away (also in Northern California) The package has already visited... Reno NV Billings MT Denver CO I am not sure if it is done yet...
Personally, I'd keep the packaging if it was marked with all those places.. what a conversation piece. If I was a writer, I would have to pen something about each place your set 'visited' on it's way to you.. Lucy
At least it didn't go to Ontario Canada. Think of the customs delay. A sent something parcel once. I took a month to go from MA to western NY. They never bothered to use the tracking # at all. That's when you worry. It was an ebay sale, luckily the buyer was patient and had it happen to him too.
I don't even question it anymore. It'll drive you crazy trying to figure it out. eg. Sent a letter to a town about fifty miles from here- took ten days to arrive. I ordered a digital scale from China - expected shipping time- 2-3 weeks- arrived in four days! Bought two items from the U.S.- both were postmarked the same day - one arrived in four days the other in eleven days. I sent two items- one to the U.S. and one to England- both took 14 days. Then, I sent another item to the States and it took three days.
So the package didn't make any other stops after Colorado (it did sit there for a few days though) 69 miles from start to finish locations, nine days delivery time, works out to about 1/3 mile per hour. can anyone beat that?
