Yes, the 1874 can range from 20-60 USD in the lower grades.
Things that can help you determining value of a coin are eBay completed listings, and Numismedia.com

    http://www.numismedia.com/cgi-bin/c...&nmcode=10414900&guide=prices&guide2=pricesms

^ The above page is the page I used to find a base retail price

^ The above link shows completed listings of 1874 Indian Head Pennies. You can find one in similar condition, and compare pricing. A recent one in VF condition went for $41.

The eBay completed listings give you a basis as to what the market can be for the coin(s)

The ones you posted I think were nicer, but as T$ mentioned 1874 is a tougher date.

All the IHC's from 1859 to 1879 can be "pricey." When you compare paying $1-$4 for a G4 cent. :)

After looking at several 1874's I am surprised what they are asking for in G4 condition. Calumsherwood the price for that IHC is not bad. I'd buy it IMHO.

Thanks for posting this. I really never thought about IHC collectors in England before. Are other series of US coins also popular ? And is there an economical way to ship an item from the US ?

    Curious,

to be honest i dont know of the best way of shipping from us to the uk or vise versa becuse i have never bought any thing from the us because im always cautious of shipping charges. so it would be nice to know of the best/ safest way of doing it. i dont know if that there are that many people in the uk who collect us coins. i have a few, 3 ihs couple of half dollars and just some ordinary stuff like cents and dimes. i would like a buffalo. i think a lot of US coins are beautiful because they are so different to uk coinage,
