Hello, I have ran across a run of star marked $1 bills. They are in consecutive order, thirty of them. Would they be worth anything or are they just a curiosity right now.
You have to look them up, I forget the site but you can enter then serial & series year and it will tell you the print run. Usually if its in the millions its worth spending.
CT member, Magman's Star Note Reference for printages. With any paper money, value greatly depends upon condition. Post some pics/scans to get some more accurate ideas of grade. Also need to know the series and denomination, and which districts these may be from.
They are near mint bills, from Dallas. 2006 run, mid hundred thousand range if I recall correctly, they are in my safe.
they are from a run of 3.2-million. unless they are in high grade (pics needed), they are worth face. still, imo, all stars are keepers.
I have them in two different envelopes. Pulled the first batch one day, twenty the next. The run in the next envelop starts with the end of the first and runs to K00732060. Promised five to my sister. I will try to post pics tomorrow after the family dinner.
Range: K 00732026 * - K 00732060 * Too bad you don't have star notes with a fancy SN like these: K 0732 2370 * K 0737 3730 * K 0737 7370 * K 0732 0732 * K 0733 3333 * K 0777 7777 *
