Just wanted to mention another feature I'm adding. I've offered space here at Cointalk to coin clubs who want space for club discussions. Most people realize it's not a simple task to offer a discussion forum website to the public, and I have plenty of resources here at Cointalk to offer. Sections for coin clubs can be completely private, they can have just the title seen, but not the threads, or they can be completly open to the public. All members are welcome and encouraged to mention to their coin clubs the service that Cointalk can offer them.
    Thanks!

Great idea Peter !! Now I wonder what made you consider that

Just kidding - I know why of course. All the same still a great idea - and downright nice of you to offer such a service.

    Can I join the clubs?

Each club will be responsible for it's own membership. I'll be working with the clubs to make the information you'd need to join them available either here at Cointalk or by linking to the club's home website like we've done with WINS.

    Howdy Bappy -

I can only answer for one of them - WINS. You would need to start here - WINS

Information about the club is posted on the web site. Rules regarding membership is posted.

It doesn't look like there is anything going on there anyway.

Actually, only verified members of WINS will be able to see any of the discussion. Please see www.winsociety.org for information on membership. It's a pretty active club, but small, and their section here at Cointalk is just one part of the club.

New members are always welcome in Error World.Don't let the name fool you,we cover all aspects of numismatics in our 5 club rooms. We have email delivery as a option, but busy clubs can overwhelm your email system.I prefer visiting clubs in person, but like I said, the option is yours. EW is a full feature group with many extras not found in other groups including our own auction forum and email system. We also run contests with monthly prizes, all for one small price...nothing!lol Can't get smaller than that! Don't take our word for it,join up and ask our member's! You'll be glad you did! ~ Jim

    Jim -

    As Peter said -
The WINS Forum is up and running. But you and other CoinTalk members cannot see it - unless you are also a member of WINS. It is a private Forum for WINS members only. Even WINS members must register with Peter before they can see the Forum and participate. Everything is there - it's just not visible to non WINS members.

I can only assume the same is true for the Error World Forum. I'm sure Peter could provide a more detailed answer about that.

Do you know if WINS has a place to look up whether you are a member or not? I am pretty sure I became a member during the whole CoinMasters thing but I can't remember and can't find a membership number.

I know I am a member of ErrorWorld but not sure how to prove it. :)

Stu, you're WINS member #18. Regarding the Error World section, I have to work out some things with Jim on how he wants that run.
