Gold tone state quarters

    I figure they aren't worth much but why do they do this and check out a few proofs and painted state quarters I have found in change..

    I'd figure the foriegn 1924 one has some silver in it.

    no. the french thing is about 10 cents.

    How about the painted ones? They look to be painted with enamel..
    Not worth but a quarter as well?
