First there were colorized coins. Now there are colorized $2 bills. For only $10 plus P/H ($5.95) you will receive a "beautifully colorized" genuine $2 bill depicting Yellowstone park. If you act now you can receive an additional colorized $2 bill depicting the Grand Canyon free if you pay the additional P/H ($5.95)! What a deal!!! $4 worth of currency for only $21.90. New England Mint's Yellowstone Park $2 Bill I wonder if "This beautiful keepsake will be cherished for generations". I thought that statement was obligaroty in ads for this type of "collectible".
Is it even legal tender? N.E. Mint? ehhhhh... I see that on the History channel all the time. I laugh every time I see it.......
When someone see,s something like this they should just turn the channel! I believe it Is legal tender but just try and spend it! they would probably arrest you!... LOL
I've got three kids and a box of crayons, I'm going into business!! "These extremely common two dollar bills have been personally enhanced with an original piece of art suitable for display on any kitchen's refridgerator....."
I was hoping that the Fed was going to start producing new, improved twos with all the trimmings...darn!!!!
Colorized State Parks Earth Memorabilia I guess the only thing left is for some crackpot hack to offer special "Once in a Lifetime!!!!" vials of specially treated vials of earth (dirt) to the public to coincide with the Parks Quarters releases. Maybe they will have different hues for the Southern Parks, the Northern parks, and a fine snow white silica quartz earthen hue to represent Alaska State Parks. Just think: you could set up your own little mini-state Park display along the road frontage to your home: " Take a drive by and feel the excitement and patriotism swell as you see tiny glints of Alaska quartz glimmer in the sunshine of the beautiful American sky!" Those of us who got shut out of the five ounce coins can now celebrate- something we can actually buy with a State Parks Quarters heirloom title. Then, after you sprinkle it roadside, wait for rain. My oh my.
