cleaned?

    i would like some one elses opinion please. i cant make make my mind up if this has been cleaned or not. i look at it once and think it has then look at it again and think maby not

    the reason i thought it may of been was because of how bright it is considering its age

    Yea it should have at least some oxidation
    Unless the day someone got it they preserved it and only professionals have handled it
    based off the photos I would have to say either cleaned or copied

    its deffinatly not a copy, ive collected coins long enough to be able to tell that. dipped is what sprung to mind as there are no cleaning marks

    Patina (mield oxidation due to age) comes in varius colour,sometimes not present in some area.If it is uniform the value increases.In your coin it is not uniform.Otherwise , it is a VF old beauty.
