RickieB, I hope all goes as you and your family hope and that you have a quick recovery from here on out. Good Luck and thanks for all of your knowledgeable posts in this forum.
Nice to hear from you, RickieB! All the best with the recovery and thanks for the inspiration you have left with us!
It's good to hear from you RickieB. I wish circumstances were different, and pray for a full & rapid recovery, as do many other of your friends.
Have just caught up with this thread and have to admit was rather steaming at the start but would like to thank you guy's for the level headed manner in which things progressed Rickie mate you get well soon :hail:
As I begin my sixth decade on this planet, I've been reflecting on my life. I've been a mighty lucky man, got a great wife and an occupation that allows me to to indulge in my hobbies. The best thing is that these are mostly "classic" collecting - coins, stamps, currency and the like. It's been so since I was five, and got a Whitman penny album for Christmas. Even though I made many silly purchases, I've also picked up great items. Since I seldom sell anything, I have a nearly intact fifty-year accumulation. Collectively, what I paid to indulge my interests is a tiny fraction of what that accumulation is worth today. It's as if I've been funding my eventual retirement by having fun. Pretty cool.
Here is one that another teller had at the bank on my last day! she'll continue to look out for me now that I got a new job! I wonder how much value if any more a 2 error has then any other bill?
That's an interesting one. It illustrates that they printed black ink and green ink at the same time. Not sure there's any increased value just because it's a $2, though.
