My girlfriend has been collecting change and gave it all to me for my birthday. All are circulation finds. Among them are:
    1917-D AG3 lincoln
    1919-S G4 lincoln
    1954 (2), 1958-D, 1944, 1955 (2), 1934, 1939, 1957-D, 1952-D, 1951-D in nice shape, and 1947 wheaties
    1943-S War nickel
    1944-P war nickel
A few more '40's nickels and some Canadian stuff.
And a 1993-S Proof Cameo quarter. Beat up though. Sort of an AU proof

    $30 loose halves - 1 40%.
    2 boxes halves - 1 dateless Walker, 2 '64's, and 21 40%'s.

    Best score yet.

What an awesome and creative idea. Clearly a gift with some thought behind it, but relatively inexpensive as well. She sounds like a keeper! :)

AU Proof! :D I love it.

Stopped at a couple of banks yesterday and found only a few dollars in loose halves with no silver, so I changed it up a little and got a box of nickels and 14 rolls of dimes.

    Dimes: 1 1964
1/3 of the way through the box of nickels: 1 silver....a 1942 S
I also found a 1939 in EF/AU and some other nice old ones
I'll report anymore that I find later.

1980 did not have any silver.

    Nice finds either way.

Silver proofs look just like other silver coins.

To the best of my knowledge, no silver proofs were issued in 1980.

Got a box today and had that dreaded experience of realizing it was someone else's dump box where they "rerolled" the rolls. UGH!!! I hate that.

I found a 1968 D DDO today that has a bit more spread than the 1968 DDO-5. I haven't identified the die yet and may need to send it to CONECA. It's the first one I have seen like that.
