well after the whole debacle with the emails being sent out about the proof ase's not being available, i am confident i will be getting mine. the problem is i keep checking my status and it shows the date of it being back ordered keeps getting longer. 2 days ago it was 11/27/10, yesterday it was 11/29/10 and today it shows 12/2/10. is there anyone else seeing these dates change of the item being back ordered? just curious. gotta love the mint. i think this is going to be one of the last products i ever buy from them. they have left a really bad taste in my mouth
Yeah, mine keeps getting pushed back to. I think one day it will just show up an my door and I will be surprised that I actually got one.
I've seen this sort of thing before on subscription orders. As the release day approaches the shipping date keeps getting pushed back. In the past, when this has occurred, I always wound up getting a "shipped' message from the mint well before the projected shipping date. One thing puzzles me though about this subscription order. I usually don't see any information on any of my subscription orders in the "order status" section of my account until a day or two before the product release date. On the ASE subscription, info showed up in my order status on the 5th of November. It seemed odd to me that the info should show up so soon. Let's hope they don't blow it .....
The US mint is getting pretty clever. They are increasing the expected delivery date by one day for each day that goes by. My expected ship date has moved to 2 December today. Yesterday, it moved to 1 December. It must have taken a special program for them to figure that one out. BTW, I was asked to complete an electronic survey for the mint. I did point out this one to them. I also mentioned my great dismay that they didn't offer the 2009 ASE proof. At the rate we're going, I may be dead before I get the 2010 ASE proof but at least they're giving me a little hope.
It must be a clever ploy. I computer program that adds a day for the expected ship date as each day goes by. It has moved to 3 December. Ne Ne Ne Ne; watch out for the sign post up ahead; we're heading for the twilight zone!!!
Mine changed from a 2010 subscription to a 2011 subscription and hasn't changed back. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to be on at 12 noon and buy one......
If I check my subscriptions in my account the same is true with me. 2011. Is there an order for 2010 ASE's in your "order status" section?
Man if you keep pushing back the delivery date to customers in the the private sector you would be out of business or unemployed pretty quick. Pretty sad in my book but I have to deal with delivery dates at my place of employment so I may be a little bias.
