Here is a 1955 S dime with alot of shine and luster, but it looks like it has a grease error.

Around the rim seems to get blurry in a way, not sure the correct term but its really cool looking when you spin in around, one image or even 10 wouldnt show how cool it is, but outside of a video clip this is the best I could do is these 4 pics.

The middle of the coin looks 100% perfect, the outter ring area seems smudged, bends the light in a neat way if you turn it.

    Is this a grease error?

That would be my first guess, but it does cover over 3/4 of the outer edge of the coin...

I'm guessing grease because the blurred area seems to have been raised.

What did you guys do to get closer views? are you scanning them with a scanner or are you using super macro lens for a camera?
