I got this token from the junk box in my buddy's coin shop a few months ago . I don't know what the figure represents and thought someone might be familiar with it. It's 18mm and brass with a plain edge. Thanks much. Bruce
I was thinking it might represent a fraternal organization of some sort, but I'm only guessing. Thanks for your input vnickels. Bruce
Errm, "Trade Mark" is English. The man depicted reminds me of Giuseppe Garibaldi, by the way. Here he is on a €2 commem from San Marino: Christian
Many gaming counters are 18mm in diameter and made of brass. I collect them, and have hundreds, but I have not seen one like yours (and I certainly have not seen them all by any means). I don't know if that is what it is, but it is a possibility. Most of my reference books on counters are difficult to use, as most ids only have descriptions rather than accompanying pictures.
I hadn't thought of a gaming counter cw. I have one or two, even though I don't collect them. I'll note that on the 2x2 but with a question mark. Thanks. Bruce
