I am having trouble with a con i picked up in a lot last week. The only identification included with the coin was India Anna. I have come to the concusion the coin is anot a 1 Anna coin, but i think it is possibly 1/4 anna, or KM-32.x. I need help with the date. I have tried several times on different days to try to use number harts for India to decipher the date, but come up empty. Anyhelp? Also, if my figuring the coin is a KM-32.x is wrong, please correct me with the right KM# and the coin- thanks for your help!!
Thanks once again DCH! can you read the numbers, or do you have a chart you use? It could be KM-33.1, but in my krause book, the characters along the rim by the bulls tail look different in the book than on the coin. Assuming the date is correct, the possibilities are KM-32.2 and KM-33.1.... but the coin looks a bit different than each coin.... well, i now think your right DCH! I measured the coin, and it is 26mm. KM-32.2 is 25mm appreciate your help!
